Naomi Wilson Appointed Interim CEO of Child Care Aware of WA

Child Care Aware of WA has appointed Naomi Wilson as Interim Chief Executive Officer, effective July 16. Naomi joined CCA of WA in November 2024 as the organization’s first Chief Transformation Officer. She brings to CCA of WA over 20 years of expertise in government and nonprofit leadership, community resilience, and culturally inclusive programming. 

Since joining the team, Naomi has led the development of innovative strategies to drive organizational change and improve the early learning system in Washington state. 

She has partnered closely with outgoing CEO Deeann Puffert in preparation for the Interim CEO role.

“I am deeply honored to serve as the Interim CEO for CCA of WA during this critical time,” Naomi stated. “I am grateful to the Board and staff for putting their trust in me, and I look forward to advancing the initiatives that matter most to Washington families.”
