Growing brain-Social Emotional Development 2 Parts (Spring 2026)

To understand how social-emotional development unfolds in the first 5 years and the brain’s role in this process. // This class will help understand on how social and emotional development unfolds in the first 5 years and how to support young children. We will look at identifying areas of the brain involved in social and emotional reactions. We will understand the role of relationships and attachments in social and emotional development. We will understand the effects of stress and empathy on the brain.
Dates: Wednesday May 7th and May 21st
*Must attend both sessions to receive credit.
