Teaching Friendship Skills

Friendship skills are invaluable for children’s present and future success! This interactive workshop gives early learning professionals concrete ways to support children’s social-emotional learning so they can be successful in their daily play and developing relationships with their peers. Participants will reflect on their current approaches; learn to teach children how to enter and sustain play; and consider how to promote an anti-bias classroom through teaching friendship skills. This training includes approaches provided and inspired by the Pyramid Model.
